## How this is measured

- **Website reachability** (method 1): An HTTP HEAD request to https://www.imado.cloud from Cloudflare Workers, every 5 minutes, with a 10-second timeout. Since 28 October 2026, a request that gets no answer is sent once more; if that gets none either, a control request to a site outside imado (https://www.google.com/generate_204) decides whether the status page's own network works. Down: Any status other than 2xx after redirects, or no answer twice while the control request answers. No answer twice while the control request also fails is the status page's own network failing: the check is unmeasured, never counted as up or as down.
- **Service checks** (method 2): Every 5 minutes, from Cloudflare Workers, the status page asks imado (behind a secret) for the state of each service — receiving, sending, the mailbox, sign-in, the console, billing, notifications — which imado decides from its own internal checks. If imado does not answer at all, receiving and notifications read delayed (incoming mail is held upstream until imado takes it) and everything else reads outage; if the public site does not load, the mailbox, sign-in and the console read outage. Down: The service is in outage. Delayed (mail held, arriving late) and degraded (slow or partly working) are counted separately and published beside uptime; neither is counted as down. A check that could not read the platform's answer is unmeasured, and so is one where the status page's own network failed (the same retry and control request as the website check, since 28 October 2026).
- Uptime is the share of measured checks that were not down. Unmeasured time is excluded and shown as coverage; it is never counted as up. Days are UTC.
- An incident opens after two failed checks in a row (for a service: in outage or delayed) and closes on the first passing check, so a single failed check lowers uptime without opening an incident, and an incident's duration starts at the second failed check.
- Not published: `api`. The API probe calls /api/health, which answers ok without checking anything, so its record only repeats the website's. Per-service checks replace it.
- Not measured yet: end-to-end delivery time.
